Waking up in the morning, it is time to get into the sauna to get your body temperature up followed by a shower and a hot breakfast. The staff were excellent in ensuring that we did not miss our shuttle service to the Hurtigruten ship.

This property offers traditional fishing cottages. Some have sea view (harbore) some have bay view (bay is small amount of water, where boats can not go) and some have village view. The history of the village was mind blowing The cabins interiors were so nice and cosy. You could find everything you needed. The team at the resort were all lovely . Mattej was fabulous and so helpful . We also had the most wonderful massage with Annette. We can’t wait to return and explore some more next year.

The restaurant wasn't open when we were there because there weren't enough people, but we actually loved being able to cook for ourselves. Overall it was a really unique and amazing stay. It's close to the main streets in Bodø, it's close to the airport, the reception is very well decorated, the room for the breakfast is very spacious, I got an spacious, quiet & clean room, and with wonderful view!! We got upgraded from a suite to a deluxe room and we scored! It was heavenly! Our bed looked out to the ocean and mountains. We wished we could have stayed a second night. Our best accommodation in Norway! I would go back in a heartbeat. Only problem is the cost of a deluxe room is prohibitive. The hotel saved us when it told us to leave our car the night before the ferry to Vesterlen. There just isn't enough space on the ferry for the volume of cars.
