Situated in Sintra, within 2 km of Quinta da Regaleira and 1.4 km of Sintra National Palace, Storytellers Villas features accommodation with barbecue facilities. Good location in Sintra for exloring the palaces. Great room with all necessary facilities. However, the biggest draw are the hosts who are amazingly helpful, provide a host of valuable information to a tourist and are generally very interesting people to talk to. This is the best thing there is in staying in small private-run hotels - meeting real people. A real pleasure.

Hotel Nova Sintra has a large sun terrace overlooking the Sintra Mountain Range and a romantic patio shaded by large trees. It features simply decorated rooms and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast very good. The manager was the best I have ever had!! Excellent. He was very, very helpful. I think he is also the owner.

Valverde Sintra Palácio de Seteais is an elegant 5-star hotel set in the mountainside of Sintra with privileged views of the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. It features a swimming pool. The staff is great and the facilities are fantastic. The food at the restaurant is very good.

This 150 year-old residence is surrounded by a garden with a swimming pool and offers view of Sintra’s Moorish Castle. The place is not only absolutely lovely, but also near tons of touristic spots and public transport that takes you to the train station and everything one might want to see in Sintra. The staff is nice, welcoming and helpful, the bedrooms are comfortable and spotless, the pool is very welcome in the summer weather, and breakfast is great. Can't recommend this place enough.

Situated in the centre of Sintra, the Bliss Hotel is a designer hotel full of character, fitted with contemporary interiors. The location was great: between the train station and everything else. The hotel was spotless and the staff friendly. The young woman who does breakfast is stellar and deserves an assistant and a raise. Our party rented three rooms and they were all great. Ample size, comfy beds.

The westernmost hotel in Europe, located on the magnificent coast of Sintra, right on Praia Grande. The view is astonishing! Right on the ocean! You can sit in the restaurant and watch ocean waves, it is very meditative. Food in the restaurant is very good, I recommend prawns in garlic sauce and octopus. And sangria. The staff is so helpful, really nice people, very friendly and caring. Also, hotel is right on the beach, where you can take surf lessons. The pool is great! You can swim in the pool if ocean water is too cold for you. Not far from the hotel there is a trail with dino footsteps, also highly recommended. I plan to stay here again next time.

Located in Sintra, 11 km from Sintra National Palace, WOT Sintra Sarrazola provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Breakfast was great. Loved the deck. Loved the Piano. Loved the staff. Loved our room . Loved the ample parking. Loved our view of Peña Palace! Location perfect for us as we wanted to be outside of Lisbon.
