We felt like home instantly. He is a wonderful host! The room is simple but correct. We had hot water for the shower and nice breakfast: omelet with veggies. A nice change of only eggs. The court yard where you can eat was very cosy. recommended!

The service here was exceptional and the food was carefully prepared - we had breakfast and dinner and both were really good. Bonus - one of us forgot our charging adapter in the outlet in our room, and the staff offered to bring it to Kigali and return it to us. Wow! If you're planning on staying here before/after visiting Akegara NP, this lodge is very conveniently located near the Southern entrance. 10/10 would visit again.

Umva was breathtaking. This was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy everything was. The staff is also amazing (Honore, Diane, Rita, Jado, Meddy, Fidia). Pictures don't do this place justice. It was very serene, peaceful, clean and it was exactly what I needed for my birthday trip. I'm definitely returning.
