This eco-friendly hotel is 200 metres from Stora Torget square and 5 minutes’ walk from Karlstad Central Station. It offers free access to a relaxation area with gym, sauna and hot tub. The breakfast was the best we've had in years. Variety was very good, but most of all, the taste was great. Everybody in the staff was friendly and professional. Hotel's restaurant is also top notch. And goes without saying, it was clean. Location is also great.

Situated by the Klarälven river, this eco-friendly hotel is 200 metres from Karlstad’s main street, Kungsgatan. Wi-Fi, gym, sauna and bike access is free. the oppertuniry of offering bicycles to their guests (free of charge - very important note) is big win! park the car in their garage and you’re a bikes distance to sny where within the city center. that was a deal breaker for me during my stay at least.

This elegant hotel dates back to the 19th century and enjoys a scenic waterfront location. The Stora Torget square is within 100 metres, while Karlstad Central Station is a 5-minute walk away. Really enjoyed this stay, nice old style elegance with well maintained modern comforts. Smaller room but still comfortable and loved the balcony where you could sit in sunshine and relax. Pleasant walk to bus station, restaurants, park and museum.
