They helped us to our rooms and the chef made us dinner which was ready in less 20 minutes. The rooms are quite spacious with comfortable beds. No complaints about cleanliness also.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Mambo & Jambo House is a recently renovated homestay situated in Mwanza, 700 metres from Saanane Island National Park. I liked that is was a very chill place with lots of green around. At late afternoon after the rain you could see some different creatures outside in the garden. I saw 3 different species os frog, bats and the famous huuuuuge African snail. For me that was the highlight of my stay, besides the beautiful staff. The other guests were very nice and chill. The kitchen was good as well. I love that the private room is affordable, very clean and comfortable. Also there’s a beautiful view of the lake. Thank you!!

An absolute gem. The owners and staff were all so amazingly warm and welcoming and made me feel like part of the family. It is a small hotel and immaculately well kept. The pool is spotless and the restaurant and bar area are just beautiful with fantastic food and a superb view of the lake. The hotel is in a great location where you can easily walk the short distance to the city but are in a peaceful setting amongst gardens. I spent 6 weeks in Tanzania and this was by far my favourite hotel. I even extended my stay I liked it so much.
