Haika Home Lodge is set in Dar es Salaam, within 10 km of Tanzania National Stadium and 18 km of Kunduchi Water Park. The staff was extremely friendly and did make you feel like you were at someone's home. Me, the staff, and some guests ended up staying for almost two hours after dinner just talking. Dinner was also traditional East African food at a good price. The rooms were comfortable, the AC worked, good water pressure, and great wifi. Everything you could want from a homestay lodge. I had an early morning flight and they had even gave me a to-go bag with breakfast.
