Housekeeping staff were super nice and efficient - they were willing to help and got stuff done immediately. Really appreciated the commitment and professionalism of the staff. Room was amazing, loved the layout, style and all the little details, etc. The colors were so relaxing, beds were super comfy, pillows were wowwww, loved the paintings on the walls, huge TV, the sofa on the corner was great too. Can’t wait to come back!!! ❤️😁

Myrtle Beach is a great get away. It doesn't matter if it's for a weekend or a week/ There is always something to do. River City Cafe is a great place for burgers, wings, beer, mixed drinks or a soda. Traffic can be a pain but it's worth it for the sights. Also if you are into nature check out the South Carolina State Park or Huntington Sate park. Both located on the beach but each offers a different look at nature.

Pawleys Island-GO!
We came to Pawleys Island for Mel Soles golf school which was excellent. We also came to golf. The courses were very nice and in very close proximity. We dined at Drunken Jacks, Franks Outback, and an Italian restaurant I can't recall but the food was outstanding in all of them. Everything is close. My wife had no desire to go to South Carolina but now wants to go back next March. We will stay longer so we can golf and take some of the historical tours that seemed so interesting. The people in South Carolina are extremely friendly and helpful.

Columbia is one of these places one ends up in by accident but that turn out nicer than expected. The area between the SC State House and the University has some nice cafés and restaurants, Gervais Street and Main Street aren't bad either. One day is definitely more than enough to see South Carolina's state capital though!

Myrtle Beach pales in comparison to every other beach I've ever been to. I have been to beaches on 5 continents and Myrtle is the worst one. The hotels are too close together, the beaches are dirty, the traffic is a nightmare. If one is traveling to South Carolina for the beach I would recommend Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms or Hilton Head

The accommodation was alright but not up to my standards. There sure is a lot of marsh land in South Carolina. We only spent one night and an afteroon in Myrtle Beach as we drove to Hilton Head Island for a week stay in a rented condo there. The beaches are the best though and the people are very friendly. I will probably visit again but pick a better hotel room.

I enjoy visiting Summerville as I have family there but book stays at the hotels because I like having my privacy. It’s not far from historical Charleston, SC. Also, I’m from South Carolina and it’s always nice to go home to visit. My only concern is that I feel that it should be a priority to update rooms at least every 3 years. A lot of the hotels use clothe furniture which get dirty and stained easily and I personally don’t like sitting on furniture that is showing dirty spots or stains.

Baymont Hotel & Suits, Columbia, SC Unfortunately, I am writing to say that I was disappointed with this hotel (Baymont Hotel & Suits at 347 Zimalcrest Drive). After a long trip from San Francisco, California to Columbia, South Carolina my son and I were given a room with used sheets first hand. We asked for an alternative but it was even worst, the bed sheet was disgusting with its stain. My son needed to go back for the third time to ask for different room. We were given a suit, however we discovered bug moving around us. I wont recommend this hotel for any one. Stay a way from this hotel please

Everything about the Palmera Inn is exceptional! This was my second visit to this hotel and I will never stay anywhere else when I visit Hilton Head, South Carolina. The hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are very nice, the price per night is quite reasonable, the free breakfast has great options, and the hotel is in close proximity to the beach and many other things and places to enjoy while in Hilton Head. I can't praise this hotel enough. Absolute best hotel in Hilton Head!

It was a nice quite location. I decided to stay somewhere in South Carolina during my Smokey Mountains vacation because I had never been to that state before (or North Carolina) before this trip. On a quest to be in all 50 states in my lifetime, only got 2 left! I wanted to see Spartanburg and I wanted a room with a jacuzzi, because I knew I’d have sore muscles from all my hiking . The hotel served its purpose. I don’t get a chance to use the pool. I would have if I had more time.

The hotel is in a perfect location. We like to walk and we could walk to all of the main attractions that we wanted to visit. The food in the restaurant is fabulous, even locals ate there. It provided a good selection of South Carolinan cuisine. All of the staff were pleasant and efficient especially our server in the restaurant, she explained the food as are travelling from England and was unfamiliew with the entreas. The valet parking was worth the cost.

Also our Room was nice and Big and the Jet/Whirlpool Tub was so on point. The employees were friendly and welcoming. We were happy that there was breakfast included. The location of this hotel was great for what we planned to do in South Carolina. We were relatively close to hiking and wineries.
