I love how friendly the staff was and always willing to assist to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The request for massage was so fulfilling in the comfort of our room.

The place is exactly as advertised, big and clean rooms. Heated pool with well stocked bar, very helpful and friendly staff. We had their breakfast on our last day, the food was great and tasty. I will most definitely book this place again!

I am admittedly biased, since the original house was designed and built in 1960 by my frandfather Casper Krüger, great-grandson of the legendary Paul Krüger, which the present owners have subsequently converted into the 4-star Kassaboera lodge. Having grown up here, several of my cousins and I recently used the occasion of a family reunion to return to this grand old home to rekindly fond memories, wondering if the intervening 60 years had altered any of our recollections at all. What a pleasant surprise it was to discover that the present owners, Manie and Amanda, have done an excellent job here in the restoration of this special place! All the charm of the original house remains, with the high, thatched roof and spacious interior, but now with modern luxuries and conveniences added, such as the beautiful swimming pool and lovely gardens. From here it is still possible to undertake long, leisurely strolls along the lake. Now I am happy in the thought that this remains one of my favorite places on earth.

We had the most amazing and magical stay. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, thoughtful, and kind - and took such good care of us! Hannes was outstanding - he led us on such magical game drives and bush walks, and was so knowledgeable about all things nature. We especially loved all the fun stories he told us from his training and wilderness survival experience. Special thanks to the chefs, who made outstanding food (the best I've had in a while!) and so thoughtfully accomodated my wife as a vegetarian (with such creative and tasty custom-made dishes!) My wife has stayed in many reserves before -- in Masaai Mara, in Namibia, in Sabi Sands -- but this was really special and unique. We actually loved that this isn't a big 5 spot, since it means that you can walk around freely -- we went for walks and runs amidst the giraffes, wildebeest, warthogs, and others. Such a special feeling of connection with nature!!

We just loved everything. We enjoyed our ouside fireplace with our welcome drinks. It was so nice and Piece full. Our room and bed was very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful had such a great time at the pool as well. will definitely go there again

I liked everything about the place, what i saw on the pictures was actually what i got and they went extra mile by decorating our room as if they knew it was our anniversary!.
