The Lord Milner Hotel is an antique wonder, with modern facilities. I had a beautiful room with a lounge area, enormous bathroom, king-size bed with top sheet and aircon. My companion was moved from her original room into a charming one with a balcony overlooking the original road. The free bus tour and ghost story are a delight and Johnny leads everyone in a great singalong in the Laird’s Arms. The dinner was excellent and the included breakfast huge. A definite treat along the route to Cape Town.

Amazing food for dinner. Beds were comfortable, and blankets were heated during a very cold night. Bathroom was very clean and modern looking. Environment was beautiful.

Excellent self-catering unit. Clean and neat with very nice bathrooms. Hannah is an excellent host and the communication form her side is just very good. Good Wi-Fi. Netflix and a nice kitchen. I will recommend this facility to anybody traveling through Beaufort Wes.
