The hotel is situated in a valley surrounded by mountains, vineyards and grazing Wagyu cattle. It is a magical position in the Klein Karoo. The villlas are beautifully decorated and the attention to detail is really great. Lee was very attentive and very efficient. The breakfasts were beautifully laid out and delicious. The restaurant served the most delicious wagu beef I have ever tasted. This is definitely a place for beef eaters!

Loved our stay at the hotel. Charming, cosy and comfortable. Loved the cosy dining room and fire in the lounge burning all day. Just loved the relaxed atmosphere of the Klein Karoo. Food was lovely and staff friendly!

Spacious and comfortable apartment with air conditioning and lovely pool on a hot day, looking out on the Klein Karoo. Very kind and helpful hosts who organised a meerkat tour for us.

Beautiful property. Staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. the restaurant is incredible, best ostrich fillet we have had ever!

Everything was above my expectation. The rooms have so much space !!, bed was comfortable with crisp linen, bathroom was clean and fresh. Evening meal was exceptional well presented and tasty as well as the breakfast the next day. Thank you we will defiantly come again.

We where in the Dwyka „Tents“ —- while tent is a most probably the wrong name here. Our tented room was absolutely wonderful. We had enough space in all aspects of our stay. We literally skipped the morning game drive on our last day to enjoy the room a bit longer The reserve itself is huge and we had very interesting game drives with a very experienced guide. An absolute must go when in South Africa

Wonderfully cosy, lovely little touches such as picked flowers on the fresh towels, great breakfast, electric blanket for those chilly winter nights, outdoor braai area with wood and fire lighters, super friendly and easy going staff and plenty of ostriches - what more do you need? Exceptional value too.

The attention to detail in the very stylish rooms, allow guests to relax and soak in the 'gasvryheid' of the farm. Top restaurant with a variety of options and a lovely breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. Close to great attractions like the Congo caves, Rus in vrede waterfall, Congo Ostrich farm and more! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

this place is just what we needed as a couple to regroup and connect. with only the birds, monkeys, and stars as distractions, we were in heaven. The forest is something out of a fairy tale and the blood red water of the river only added to the feeling of otherworldly-ness. The owner has taken so much care to make this place inviting and magical and his down to earth approach made us feel right at home. In fact, we added an extra night to our stay because we just couldn’t imagine leaving!

We spent two nights here and if it was possible, we would have stayed longer. The environment is beautiful and the tents are very comfortably furnished. Feeding the elephant was a great experience.

The Chalet was perfect and had everything we required. The best part was the braai station, right outside, with plenty of wood available. The surroundings were beautiful and tranquil, and we saw many zebras and other bucks walking around. The on-site restaurant had really great food and drinks. If you'd like to self cater, the kitchen is well set up. All you need is the groceries and braai meat to see you through your stay. Accessing shops once you are there is not an easy trip, as the lodge is truly in the middle of nowhere... which is wonderful.

Everything needed. Clean, neat and comfortable

The location was amazing! Enjoyed the views with wildlife grazing by early morning and evenings. The pool was an oasis as the Temps were in the 34 C range. When we arrived we had plenty of wood next to our braai. Highly recommend going on the ostrich tour.
