From £22 per nightFor me on that day and for my purpose of visiting the small town of Parys, the accommodation was perfect. Even under-roof parking for my car (the beginning of winter with very cold nights) in front of my accommodation with a remote-controlled gate. The night was peaceful and quiet. Almost like in the South African bush!

Jacques, our host was one of the kindest, friendliest people I have met. He went out of his way to make our family Christmas get-together one of the best ever! We spent a lot of time fishing on the Vaal River - Mountain View has beautiful river frontage. We also spent a lot of family time under beautiful trees on the immaculate lawn. We'll definitely return. When you go to Mountain View, don't stay in your room, experience the beautiful surroundings.

The food was awesome, we had breakfast both mornings. The staff are very friendly and incredibly accommodating. The staff were on hand to assist with anything we needed and are great to us. They even let us check out a little later, and they were cool about us arriving a little late. Great people.

The place is self-catering. Ideal for a small to large family. Facilities are just ideal - braai area, pool area, animal farm, wild animals, play area, and beautiful views and scenery. Quietness of the night, with just the sounds of wild animals. Industrial-type bathroom and decor. Its Parys, so we expected lots of quirkiness and antique wood!

The property was located in the ideal spot on the golf course, you can see the river from the house. The house was extremely clean on arrival and has everything you need for a weekend away. Polla kept us updated on loadshedding schedules and made sure we have everything we needed.
