Also, it's an old-world luxury hotel, not like all these enormous modern chain hotels.

Our room had plenty of space, a wide bed, ample wardrobe space, separate toilet and goood sized bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Not too far from York and good restaurant on site and in Pocklington too, there us a good choice of places to eat. Pet friendly and a great place to walk the dogs. Bakers Lodge was a comfortable place to stay, spotlessly clean, warm and great WiFi. My go to place in York now.
