The host was very friendly and kind and caring. Her house felt like a villa in the most luxurious summer resort. Host made marvelous breakfast and always took care of all our needs.

Not only Porto Gumati exceeds all of one's expectations upon arrival, but once you're already there, you can sense how well-thought, carefully-crafted and guest-oriented each and every detail of the resort actually is. The views are simply mesmerizing, the rooms are cozy, the food is world class (we even had a lovely dinner while there) the staff is friendly/professional and you don't really need to be lucky to meet the owner - Mr. Irakli - who's physically present there most of the time to attend the guests' needs.

Do not expect anything of luxury, but if you're looking for a budget option with a nice small rooms to sleep over and basic facilities, this will suit you well. It is very authentic. The lady owner is extremely kind, willing to help me with my transport to Tbilisi and even calling and ordering a marshrutka very early morning. She speaks Russian, German and limited English, but her granddaughter is there to help with translation if needed. The location is also convenient, the centre is around 15 minutes far away by foot.

Our room and the hotel is general could be summed up in one word - sumptuous! The room was huge, the terrace big, the beds were comfortable with satin bedsheets and the breakfast was excellent. It was real old-world luxury. Location in the centre of the old town by the White Bridge couldn't be better .

Every corner of Newport hotel is an hidden gem. Hall and rooms are so charming and make you feel like you’re living a luxury dream. The staff is the warmest I ever met, so professional helpful and smiling. Amazing breakfast, lots of choice and best crepes I’ve ever eaten!!! 7 stars

Very nice terrace with view of the cathedral! Basic apartment, not super cozy or luxury, but you get everything you need for a city stay! Located in a backyard, so safety-feeling was very good!

Very cheap and cheerful guest house in a very central location in Batumi. Not the height of luxury but you get what you pay for. Had a fan in room to keep you cool. Beds are not the longest. Nice warm shower.

This is a guest house, not a super luxury hotel, so I didn't have any special expectations, but I was surprised by the hospitality with which I was greeted. I only spent 2 days here, but i really enjoyed it! The owners are really, really special, they are very kind and supportive. I haven't met such caring people in a long time. Next time I will definitely try to stay here again.

We spent five nights at Sanapiro and we couldn't end up happier with the stay. Even before arriving to Georgia, they arranged for us a transfer from the airport. The breakfast was excellent and the staff is extremely helpful and kind. The manager helped us arranging a day trip to nearby Gelati and Motsameta monasteries and to Sairme, a spa resort in the mountains. Don't hesitate to get a taste of the homemade Saperavi and honey vodka if you stay over. Highly recommended!
