We've mostly visited other areas to the north (Taormina, Giardini Naxos) and south (Syracuse, Noto) of the location and also Etna. I recommend using a car as mean of transport Our host was very friendly and prepared for us a list of restaurants and markets nearby.

Travelled to Sicily from the US. We opted for the host to come pick us up from the airport which made our lives so much easier. When we arrived, we were fed and taken care of. The host was such a lovely and kind human and he went above and beyond to help us figure out the best places to visit. The home was right by the ocean! And it had a lovely courtyard that led right out to the beach front. I definitely want to come back to this home in the summer so we can swim! There were 2 bedrooms, a twin bed, and a full kitchen and dining area. Perfect for what we needed. The home was in a central location so we could get around easily. The home really contributed to our overall experience of our trip to Sicily. Thank you Dario!

Great communication with the host, Salvatore. We were able to check in after 11 PM. The apartment consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room with a kitchenette, and a spacious terrace. From the terrace, there is a view of Mount Etna, a swimming pool, and a playground. There is a table and four chairs on the terrace. The apartment is clean and spacious. It is a 2-minute walk to the nearest beach entrance. On the way, you pass a store. The store is well-stocked with Italian products, and there is very tasty bread (much better than in the local Lidl), but you won't find some products that you might be used to, such as cucumbers.
