Kactus Koh Ta Kiev was, to be put simply, the best place I stayed in Cambodia, if not in my entire south-east Asia trip. From the idyllic location on a secluded beach (where you can snorkel and see bioluminescent plancton just by swimming at night to the shores) on the magical island of Koh Ta Kiev (white sand beaches with pristine blue waters, dense jungle hikes) which for now has only 2-3 hotels on it; to the amazing staff that run the place and really love what they do, offering free yoga and tao classes, crazy plancton night tour, the night fires and games, delicious cocktails and food, comfy jungle dorms and clean jungle bathroom (beware of the insects and other animals, but that's part of the experience!) - Kactus will forever stay in my heart!

We stayed for 5 nights and it was so relaxed but with enough different scenery (private pool, communal pool and beach) we felt we could have stayed longer. The staff were amazing and very helpful! It was a beautiful stay! We made the most of the free activities they put on eg. head massage tutorial, meditation, paddleboarding etc.

everything, absolutely wonderful place, beautiful gardens, great pool, lovely rooms, amazing showers the water was piping hot, the food is delicious and not expensive at all, great wine’s, 5 minutes walk from the beach, great staff we stayed 3 nights the whole family loved it, highly recommended, will be going back before years end.

Very nice staying . Stuff are great! Very friendly and helpful. Helped us organize trip by boat to the islands . Also reserved taxi to Phnom Pen . Food was also delicious .

The resort is placed right on the beach and it’s possible to trek through the jungle to get to other parts. There’s plenty of hammocks to relax in, beach volley, boat trips and even microphones ready for a karaoke night! The food was also nice, a little expensive but you’re on a remote island so it’s to be expected. Amazing location on a quiet bay on Koh Ta Kiev; the beach is almost exclusively for this resort, so it is not at all busy. Private rustic bathroom (was listed as shared so that was a nice surprise), some phone/data reception if you were lucky. Electricity was available in our room from the generator ran from Dusk until about 23:00, Nice walk through the island to the other resorts for a change of scenery and food/drink options.

The beach is amazing and right on your doorstep. Beds were comfortable and facilities were great and clean. Food was amazing just a little pricey but I guess this is expected of a small island. Loved the workout studio and crafts area. Plenty of hammocks under the trees to lie and read/take in the incredible surroundings.
