We really enjoyed our stay at Tabula Rasa. The hotel is built on a mountain in the jungle and offers an amazing pool with ocean view, very tasty food with reasonable prices and beautifully designed rooms. We loved the “digital butler” app which allowed us to order food, spa or anything else very easily with our phones. Also, the Dutch owners are wonderful and the entire staff was very kind at all times. The hotel is a 20 minutes ride to Galle. You can get a tuk tuk which will be about 15 USD for the roundtrip. In summary, we can only recommend this hidden gem.

It's very quite, the rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The bathroom outside was one of the highlights. The hosts are very welcoming and supportive, they gave us many tipps about beaches to visit, good restaurants and a lot of information about the country. The breakfast was great, but you need to be very hungry since the amount of food is huge. We felt so welcome there that we could have stayed for another week! We can recommend this resort to everyone! One advice, bring repellent for the mosquitos

The stuff was really friendly, the breakfast was really tasty, the pool was great (no time limitations for using it!), the rooms were large and comfy with a large bathroom,,... Also the location was really good, in walking distance to the fort. If I ever returned to Galle I 'd be glad to book it again.
