This is a hidden gem of a resort in Ipoh, nestled amongst the rainforest valley and a private golf course 😍 The privacy here is excellent, with very good cellular reception and WiFi, enabling business travellers to work overlooking a beautiful scenery 👍🏽 They also had a delegated parking for guests which is quite rare. The staff are friendly and there are basic amenities 10 minutes away (petrol station, convenient stores, street food, etc.) just outside the golf course.

Good location, not too far away from Ipoh city. A nice smell welcomes you as you enter the hotel, feels like entering a Spa resort. The room is rather basic but definitely value for money.

We thoroughly enjoyed the pool! The spa treatments were fantastic as well, great value and very relaxing. Breakfast had a good selection of food and was yummy. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We travelled with our elderly parents who had mobility challenges, and the staff were more than capable of meeting and exceeding assistance expectations. The tennis courts was a bit away from the rest of the resort, but it gave us something different to do.

This is one of the interesting accommodation that I have been to, where this resort is located among the hills. It is very close to the lost city theme park which we can easily take a walk there.

Helpful and polite receptionist, the bed is clean (some other hotel has the bad scent coming out from the bed and the sheets), no roach, clean bathroom. You know, expensive does not mean great quality, it means luxury. This one right here the room is very clean, its perfect!

The stay was worth every single penny spent! My husband and I wanted a trip to just relax and rejuvenate and this trip was just it! We spent the whole day, although was just for one night, in the TBHR itself as we didn't have the need to explore whilst everything was there. The best part was the Tambun resort is jus 1/2 an hour walk away if you get into the jungle walk at 11am!
