Wow, this was just the best place to stay. The resort was comfortable and the food was very good. We walked to see the orangutans and the Discovery center. The front desk was excellent to arrange our tour to the proboscis monkeys and to the airport. You ask and they deliver. As birders, the grounds are exceptional for birding. We saw so many just off of our balcony. We had hot water and the secret is to just turn on the water until you hear the water heater engage. Worked perfect for us.

Fabulous nature! Very good value. Main attractions within easy walking distance. We saw pig tailed macaque, hornbills, red langur, slow loris, black backed kingfisher, mouse deer, green pigeons and much more right on their property! Gibbons serenaded us every morning too. Nature lover’s paradise. The night tour was excellent too, albeit we did get bitten by fire ants and a leech-good shoes and clothes a must!

The actual resort was in an amazing setting in the rainforest, with walkways and small lakes. The pool area was lovely, very peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was good. It was excellent value for money, and included a buffet style breakfast. We stayed in the basic room, which was fine for three nights.

The rooms had a balcony and you could see the whole jungle, watch the animals and the sounds were beautiful. It was like a luxury jungle experience. The common area was also lovely! Met lots of other travellers and the food was exceptional. The staff were also so friendly! The shuttle is great, goes to sepilok and picks you up. This was by far better than any of the other resorts by the centres. I will deffo go back.KirstyFamily with young children
