Baile Herculane’s Bacolux Diana Resort, Herculane enjoys natural surroundings in a large forested area. Located a 2-minute walk from Cerna River, the property is just 250 metres from the town centre. WiFi and parking are available free of charge.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Diana resort. Our room was spacious and clean, and we had everything we needed - including a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains around Herculane. The hotel has two restaurants which are beautiful, but we only had breakfast there so we cannot judge the dinner or lunch menue. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a varied selection. The buffet was always filled up quickly, the staff always cleared the tables quickly and efficiently. Everyone was very friendly. Both pools (inside and outside pools with thermal water) are very nice. The hotel also has a spa area. We loved the sun terraces and the spa and pool area after a long day of hiking and walking. From the pool you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains. The hotel provides bathrobes and towels for the spa/pool.

    The facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the swimming pool and spa, both excellent. The buffet should be served by staff, as people created a mess. We had dinner only once and we didn’t like it. But other than that we had an excellent 5 night stay. A brilliant 3 star resort.

    Everything inside is new, renovated with a good taste and to the appearence, qualitative. In the room, we got a bottle of local water, from the house. The water in the swimming pool was not too cold not too warm, the floor was clean and in the Saunas there was always someone who came to refill the aromas and add steam. The breakfast was rich and tasty. Overall a nice experience, too bad that the Baile Herculane resort is not taken care of and no overall investments have been made by the administration.

    Being November, it was very warm inside, so the heating and hot water were above expectations. We had breakfast included in the price and it was a la carte but more than ok for a fresh start of the day. The hosts are welcoming. The room is big, however the house needs some renovations as well as the entire area. It's pretty far from the centre, more towards the entrance of the resort.
