We liked the beautiful resort with a big pool and a few steps to the beach immediately. The resort is very tastefully furnished and decorated by the owners. It is also obvious that the owners take care of the whole resort with love and pleasure.There is also a pleasant sitting area in the lobby, where it was possible to have a delicious breakfast every morning. Guests can also enjoy a variety of drinks in the lobby bar. Very kind and helpful owners living right in the resort. Highly recommended!

The location was perfect, a 2 minute walk to an amazing beach and there are some lovely restaurants around the property as well. The bungalows are spacious and clean, they have a nice patio area to sit out on which are spaced out enough to be comfortable. There is a lovely cat to feed as well if that’s your thing! All in all it is amazing value for money

Very good price performance, great boutique location right in front of the beach, very kind staff and owners. We felt very warm and welcomed. We really enjoyed our stay here and will come back for sure. There is a nice pool with a coctail bar and restaurant (hint - they have happy hours;)), you can also enjoy dinner watching the sunset, have a massage right in front of the beach.. They can also wash your laundry. It is adults only, which we liked. Bed was very comfortable and we had a very good sleep. Our villa was spacious, with a nice sea view, so it was nice sitting on the terrace, drinking morning coffee. Location is also good - the island is small, so everything is near with a motorbike or tuk tuk. Old town is around 15-20 min away with tuk tuk. We really recommend staying here!

Baan Chainarong in Koh Lanta is a great find. The people running the place are super friendly, making you feel at home despite a few language hiccups. Sorting that out is easy, though. The rooms are modern, well-kept, and just the right size. Beds are big and comfy, and there's a handy fridge. The air conditioning keeps things cool. The best part is the chill pool area with sunbeds – a perfect spot to relax. They do laundry for a decent 50 baht per kilo and rent out scooters for 250 baht daily. Situated by the main road, it's peaceful with light traffic and the hum of insects. A quick two-minute scooter ride takes you to Old Town Lanta, a cute area with shops and restaurants, giving off a laid-back vibe. For more action, a 15-minute scooter ride gets you to the lively west coast with bars, restaurants, beaches, and diving schools. Baan Chainarong is one of our top spots for a relaxed island getaway – totally recommended.
Loft Vintage Chalet resort

The beds are a little hard (typical for asia) and the mosque is noticeable at 5am (typical for koh lanta) but that didn’t affect our stay. We ended up extending by 4 days because the resort is tucked away from the road, which would have been way louder. The room has a ton of space and the staff were eager to help as needed. Breakfast at the cliff restaurant was a nice touch. They offered to give us rides to places but we rented scooters instead.

We loved, loved, loved Sea Shell! We have travelled for one month in Thailand and had to come back for a third time - we just couldn’t get enough. The staff was so attentive and sweet, we instantly felt at home. The food in the restaurant is great and so is the massage. The view from the pool overlooking the ocean is nothing short of unbeliveable. The only reason we wouldn’t recommend this place, is because we’d want it to be free for whenever we decide to come back - which we will!

Large basic rooms, with good aircon and comfortable beds. Kettle with coffee provided (tea also if you ask for it), bottled water and toiletries also provided but we didn't find the advertised hairdryer (it may have been available on request but I always take my own, so I didn't ask). Wifi was good, as was the food in the restaurant. The pool area was looking a bit tired but was great for a dip when the tide was out.
