The oceanfront room with fireplace was very nice with outdoor patio and connection by a walkway with 2 other hotel resorts for a nice walk. Fire pits and beautiful gardens. My kids liked the pool. The nice weather helped.

(Also a negative as we were so far from everything). - beach front access. - definitely looked like one of the nicest resorts in Pismo. - nice to have a balcony with a glimpse of the ocean.

We also were one block from the fun downtown, shops, and restaurant area. Other motels to the north may be more fancy, but they didn't have easy access. Parking was good at the resort, even during the busy weekend. We liked the ALL DAY COFFEE in the office and the small bag breakfast snacks with 2 muffins and a granola bar. The Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach walks both directions from the motel were ideal.

It's definitely an old motel but it's almost nostalgic...it's an old beach town, this is not a 5-star resort in Hawaii. It did the job for the price.
