The location was a pleasant easy walk into town with it's many lovely restaurants and individual retail shops. It was nice to have the indoor open fire and BBQ facility out on the terrace with a table, chairs and comfy couch. The cottage kitchen was well equipped and the cottage size was very good.

In fact our first night was so good we decided to stay on for a second night! In so doing we got to experience rooms in both the new development and the original house. Both exude equal charm, character and understated luxury.

We were greeted by Stanley who is both highly professional and very friendly - nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight, served by friendly staff by the swimming pool. Rooms are large, spotlessly clean with everything you need and more. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended - will definitely return.
