The location super quiet for one to enjoy the sounds of nature. The staff was also so pleasant, everyone we came into contact with was so hospitable. Lastly, I thoroughly enjoyed my massage under the tree. The whole experience was an absolute treat. Can’t wait to go back.

For us, this lodge was a good place to overnight in White River, in order to break a long drive in two smaller parts.

Overlooking the reservoir of da gama dam, views are lovely. Set in what used to be a resort which appears to have closed and individual places sold off it was secure and quiet. The lodge was clean and had basics we needed including a gas hob and oven for cooking along with a washing machine. It was a perfect base to get to and from Phabeni Gate (Kruger) and the restaurants at Hazy View.
