We stayed in the small wood cabin and there was plenty of space, inside and out, for us to feel comfortable and at home. Swimming was divine (bring water shoes for the rocky lakebed) and all the food we tried at the restaurant was delicious. We didn’t leave the resort during our stay but there is plenty to explore within minutes and organized excursions are offered. The staff exceeded our expectations! I was incredibly happy with the warm kindness extended to us by everyone we met including fellow guests. My kids insist we return when we come back to Albania. We could have stayed much longer.

The nearest airport is Podgorica Airport, 62 km from the resort. Everything is great, although I had a big accident - I fell and injured my spine due to my carelessness. The reaction of the hotel staff (and the English guests as well) was fantastic - I received first aid immediately. Then the amazing Mr. Durim appeared on behalf of the hotel - he put me in the car, drove me to the Skodar Emergency Hospital, was with me the whole time while I was doing x-rays and ultrasound of the abdomen, and returned me to the hotel (all health services, Mr. Durim made it free!!!). On my way back to the hotel, the owner met me and offered me a night IN HIS OWN HOUSE, in case I was scared or under stress or in severe pain. Where, except in Albania, is there such a relationship towards the guest? Once again, thanks to everyone at the hotel, and to the staff of the first aid station in Shkodër.
