This impressive spa hotel is located in the heart of the magnificent Rila mountain range, near the popular ski resort of Borovets, only a 50-minute drive away from Sofia.

The fitness area includes a 15-metre indoor swimming pool, an ice fountain, a solarium, a hot tub and a well-equipped gym. An open terrace reveals views to pine trees. all the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. breakfast was plentiful from cold to warm options and the swimming pool/spa were welcome after a long days snowboarding. The hotel is located right on the slopes so we snowboarded into Borovets, took the gondola to the peak and snowboarded down the red runs back to the hotel. I was astonished by the scenery - it was amazing as the hotel is embedded into the forest so a magical sight as all the trees were snow covered. The 3 x gentlemen in the equipment room were very helpful and suggested snowboard settings options to enhance our boarding experience - thank you.
