The units in the resort are equipped with a coffee machine. At Six Senses Fiji, every room includes air conditioning and a TV.
My wife and I chose Six Senses Fiji for part of our honeymoon, having experienced other Six Senses resorts. The Fijian property, however, was truly outstanding. Every staff member radiated warmth and friendliness. Our GEM was particularly wonderful, seamlessly coordinating all our desired activities.
Accommodation:
We stayed in the Hideaway Pool Villa. The expansive space boasts a private pool, lush garden, and ultra-comfy beds.
Cuisine:
Breakfasts were satisfying, and while they might not outshine some larger resorts, the staff's willingness to customize is commendable. Our lunch and dinner experiences were generally pleasant, with a mix of set menus and à la carte options. A bit more variety might enhance the longer stays, though. Everything was very fresh.
Activities:
The resort offers a mix of complimentary and chargeable activities. I'd highly recommend the surfing – the instructors are top-notch! Also, don't miss out on Cloud 9; it's a quick boat ride away and a must-visit.
Insights:
The expansive resort does cater to families, yet its sheer size ensures privacy. For families, the available nanny service is an excellent touch. For couples, I don't think you will be disturbed.
Value:
Considering the premium nature of an island resort, the value resonates at about 8-9/10. It's a five-star experience, and the pricing reflects that.
Final Thoughts:
Six Senses Fiji captivated us with its charm, outstanding service, and dedicated team. Special mention to the GM, whose dedication to the resort and its guests is evident. Heartfelt thanks for making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!
Nanuya Lailai
Nanuya Island Resort has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Nanuya Lailai. The accommodation features karaoke and room service.
At the resort, rooms come with a wardrobe, bed linen and a balcony with a garden view. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Nanuya Island Resort also boast a sea view. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge.
The property was very quiet and the facilities were clean. We booked the Honeymoon suite (not honeymooners) and it was like we had the place to ourselves. The staff were exceptional. Friendly at very accommodating. The food was outstanding! We loved that there was not a compulsory meal plan like the next property we went to. A continental breakfast was included in the booking (it was excellent) and then you could order off of the menu for lunch and dinner (from a couple of choices). You only paid for what you ordered and I feel more properties in Fiji should offer this. Also, Nanuya has Happy Hour every day at 5 and we missed that at the next property. Special recognition for Dommy, George, Bill and his co-singer, Tui, and Lucy in the spa.
Tavewa
Set within a tropical garden of coconut palms and surrounded by turquoise water, Coconut beach Resort directly overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon in the Yasawa Islands. The staff are what makes Coconut Beach a standout amongst so many resorts in the island chain. We were immediately on a first name basis with them, from bartender to boat captain, guide to cleaning staff, yoga instructor to chef, they were engaging, entertaining and as eager to share a bit about their lives as they were to learn a bit about ours. Truly a magical six nights! And to be able to watch a Fijian sunrise from one side of the resort and a Fijian sunset from the other…luxury!
Very friendly staff, great value for money, rooms are very basic but very spacious compared to more expensive resorts
Everything you need is at the resort. Staff were exceptional. The guys doing the activities around the pool and beach are absolutely fantastic with kids and very attentive.
Family resort which is so special that there are no words to describe it.
Absolutely wonderful island experience Most of the staff are from the local village so it’s a real authentic island experience The scenery is stunning and the food and variety is excellent The resort faces north west so you have front row to the sunsets unlike many other resorts
It's the best resort I've ever stayed at, the accommodation was amazing and peaceful and the people were lovely!
The following were the positives. - All 3 meals included (Food is otherwise very expensive) - Free included Snorkeling trip (This was the best part of our entire trip) - Free kayaks and paddle boards -Has a supermarket at reasonable rates -Great people. Out of the 3 resorts we stayed, Musket cove had the friendliest staff.
The property is well maintained with a dive shop, restaurant, two bars, spa, and a kids club. We used all of the amenities, kids loved the activities they did at kids club like weaving and making shell bracelets. We went scuba diving and snorkeling ( both off the beach and on the resort boat) and we got massages. The staff is super friendly and so welcoming. We loved visiting the village nearby and brining the kids some gently worn clothes and school supplies.
beautiful resort on paradise island Tokoriki, awesome beachfront and view tu surrounding islands including Monuriki (Cast Away movie), everyday free activities like pool volleyball, melon bashing, walks, aerobic, cocktails hour, etc., very kind staff with warm welcome and touching farewell, awesome food with starter and main dish, logistics perfectly organised by ferry, your car can be parked in Sheraton Fiji Resort on main island. 101 points from 100 for unbelievable vacation!!!
Amazing infinity pool with a great pool area and amazing snorkelling straight off the beach. Garden resort room was lovely, comfortable and close to the main area. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Totally recommend the tree top spa massage.
