Authentic medieval feel with 20h century conveniences. Love’d it. If you’re looking for a 5 star resort…. Not for you. If you want to get a feel for old Europe? Right up your alley. Wonderfully appointed rooms. Looks like old Europe, but wonderful comfort. Breakfast was fabulous. Has an old style entrance under a bevy of roses. Fabulous.

Sébastien, the delightful owner, welcomed us at the entrance & showed us around the beautiful gite. He has spared no expense in providing every possible comfort / luxury. Private parking, very well designed gite ( well equipped kitchen, lovely shower, comfy bed…) And he was kindness itself when he found that I was taken to hospital in the morning with the awful respiratory viral infection. He called several times to see if he could help in any way. What a lovely man ! And a lovely gite ! Thank you dear Sebastien ❣️

The Chateaux is a beautifully resorted accommodation with great history. Gael & Cecile are very passionate about sharing the history. The rooms are exquisitely furnished and comfortable.

The most beautiful house with the most amazing host. Incredible breakfast, luxury bedding and towels, wonderful location.

It looks outside not much on an industrial area. On the otherside of the building a huge garden and swimmingpool. Children safe and lots to do . Really recommended for families and single travellers. Very nice atmosphere during sundown and night. Feeling like camping area with luxury of a hotel. Staff is great!

Azay le ridea and surrounding countryside lovely, very well placed for chateaux and not too far from vineyards. Exceptionally clean Gardening and cleaning team very helpful and thoughtful. Some luxury eg bath

Its overall environment is resort feel. The restaurant dinner is very tasteful. The classic decoration is very nice.

Stunning place to visit. From the views of the chateau as you drive up to the entrance to the very decorative, beautiful interior, you really do feel like you've walked into luxury. The staff make the visit, they are very welcoming and provide an excellent standard of service. The lady who checked us in made an excellent recommendation for dinner and was happy to sort out a booking. Breakfast was delicious. They offer a wide range of freshly made items such as breads, pastries, cheeses, meats, and lots more.

Quality produce, excellent French breakfast with outstanding service in a lovely dining room, plus a fabulous swimming pool in a quiet location with plenty of onsite car parking
