If you have a car/driver and like nature (and do not need to get frequently to the city) - the location is nice. Also for traveling early to Semuch Champey the location was great. The place feels like a mini welcoming resort we loved the option for a picnic area. The dining area is very nice if you like outdoors and the team made an effort to serve us.

The staff were very helpful and friendly with good English. The food is pretty good, with many prices cheaper than the town and the laundary service was very fast. Wi-Fi is excellent in the restaurant. Our room (private with shared bathroom) felt a little bare, but it was cool at night. The resort is beautiful and in a great location. It was very easy to catch local transport to Semuc Champery.

simple hostel with basic amenities, but I loved it! It is a 1 hour walk to Semuc Champey, staff is super friendly and will do everything to ale your stay pleasurable. Food in the restaurant was fab and prices were reasonable again, don’t expect a four star resort, it’s a real jungle experience;)

Great hostel! Staff is so friendly and helpful. Nice facilities - you fell like you are at a jungle resort! Fun music in the evening. Great services. An perfectly located for entrance to Sumec Champey.

This hostel/hotel is located amidst beautiful landscape with a river flowing. The cabin like rooms are rustic and encompasses the nature around. The dorms are spacious. The restaurant on location has a good selection of food and beverages. Definitely a must stay while in Lanquin, it is even better if the weather is perfect to take everything in what the resort like setting offers.

The hostel was in an absolutely beautiful location with incredible views of the surrounding area. The Infiniti pool over looking the mountains would rival that of any 5 star resort but it was still one of the most affordable in the area. Easy 15 minute walk to town. And the staff was incredible!! The hostess Lisa was super friendly and even had long conversations with me to help with my Spanish. The rest of the staff including Diego and Bin Che (hope that’s right) and the girls were just as friendly. Stay here!!! - Jon and Eveline
