Kilkea
With a history dating back to 1180, Kilkea Castle provides accommodation set on 180 acres of woodland, gardens and a golf course. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and a shared lounge. A concierge service, free parking and luggage storage are available for guests. The property was incredibly beautiful and it felt incredible driving up onto the grounds and entering the castle. The staffing at the front desk was super helpful and got us breakfast early since we had a flight to catch the next morning. Really nice bathrooms and rooms inside of where we were staying and it felt very secluded which was great as well. My wife and I would like to fly back and visit again in April.

On the estate, there are two residences, the historic Georgian Manor House and chic, sophisticated Hunters Yard. Both properties offer luxurious 5-star accommodation. The food was incredible ! The staff were incredible and the room was superb! It was the most relaxing environment where I felt like we were waited on hand and foot. Wonderful atmosphere and facilities. Can’t wait to go back !

The place felt so peaceful, l recommend this to everyone who loves luxury.
Luxury. Clean and food was very good
A luxury stay from check in to check out. We had a two bedroom lodge which had plenty of room and comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, but be warned, it takes some eating so set aside a good amount of time. Staff were super helpful.
We loved the location, the hospitality and the luxury. The breakfast was divine. It was a belated anniversary trip for us and our first weekend away without kids in 5 years and it was fabulous! A real treat and we were treated like royalty!
It was a normal hostel. Nothing special, but as expected. It's not luxury, and never pretended to be, but it was fine.
Beautiful hotel lobby - rooms very basic and was expecting a little more luxury for the price and from the pics but it was very clean and comfortable and the staff were great. Especially liked the midday check out! Dont get that anymore!
Loved the breakfast, especially the granola and fruit coulis. The breakfast on Sunday in the De Lacy lounge was a treat. The coffee is top notch . The service was excellent throughout. I also loved the impeccably kept grounds. I loved the vibe of Killeen Castle and Golf Resort. The golfers were sound too!!
It's our second time back here. The location is so central, yet not too noisy. The staff are always so friendly and accomadating. The beds are also very cosy. It's not a luxury resort but if you are just staying over night for a concert like we were point A hotel is definitely one of the best value for money places you are going to get.
Loved the location, hired bicycle for 6km around golf resort
