This resort is absolutely amazing and Jerome the host is really caring about his guests (every evening he drove us to a restaurant for dinner and picked us up again). The resort is quiet and relaxed, huge space in the villas, very comfortable and beautiful designed, beds are comfortable, bathroom with rainshower, refrigerator in the room, fast wifi (Starlink!), laptop safe. Breakfast is served in the lounge area of your villa or if you prefer, in the shadow under the palm trees on the beach. Jerome will give you a small cellphone during check in with his number in the contact list, so whenever you need something, just give him a call. If you like to explore the island, Andrew is a great guide and driver to show you around, Really recommend snorkeling at the sunken cemetery, a boat trip to white island and of course scuba diving or snorkeling at Mantigue island. This was one of the best places I have ever stayed - thank you!

The sunset views were spectacular. The owner and the staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and nice.

The facilities was what we expected. Bed was comfy, room was spacious and clean. They also provided an extra bed for my daughter. The food selections were large for a boutique hotel, plus it was delicious. Our view from the room was gorgeous and we had a nice breeze the entire time we were there. They also provided laundry service for a small fee and they were gentle with our clothing. We will definitely come back again.

The resort also offers free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. Great hostel with nice staff and good food! Breakfast and dinner being included is awesome to meet the other people staying there. The hostel is in a great location and the rooms are comfortable! Would recommend staying here and hopefully come back again in the future! The constructions that they told us about were also no problem, as they only do it at times you would be awake and probably exploring anyway!

KURMA Freedive Camiguin is situated just across White Island sandbar. The resort is 4 km from Mambajao Airport and 6 km from the capital town of Mambajao. The Sunken Cemetery of Camiguin Island is a 10-minute drive away. In all my years of traveling for work, Kurma's staff was really the most attentive and fun people I have interacted with. They are truly its crown jewels. Unfortunately, due to my schedule to do work on the island, I didn't get to try free diving which I hope to do next time I visit. The overall resort vibe is a welcome relief to the noise and pollution of city living. Ohhh and we're not vegetarians but the food here is delicious!!!!

Camiguin Volcan Beach Eco Retreat & Dive Resort is a 10-minute drive to the Sunken Cemetery and Mambajao Airport. White Island is a 15-minute drive and boat ride away. This was our most treasured stay (5 nights) in our 2 month trip around the Philippines. From the airport pickup, stunning exotic seaside Nippa style villas, guided Scuba Diving, Jungle Trekking and Island Tours and the warmest hospitality in the Philippines, we loved it all. The staff were exceptional arranging a delicious buffet of local foods on our request. Special thanks to our hosts and our hero “Alfie”.
