Duroyou is my special 'home' in Pakistan, to stay in, a wonderful, relaxing place with a lovely mountain view location and a large green lawn, very good service and comfortable rooms. But the best thing by far is the loving and caring welcome and reception I received from everybody (say hello to Snoopy and Victor from me!). And in particular, brothers Badar and Fakhar - all the good and funny times I've spent with them can never be repaid - they turned this 'guest' into a friend for life. Please stay here if you've got any sense... but save a room for me, haha.

At the resort rooms have bed linen and towels. The VIEW from our room, which had a massive window, was stunning. The room had a chair and sofa in addition to the bed, so we could hang out and drink tea while enjoying the view and watching birds. I was surprised that in this location on a mountain in Skardu we had great internet, space heaters, and hot water. The food at the restaurant was good, too. I'm vegan and I was able to eat.

Wash room amenities are amazing . One of the best buffet breakfast of hunza.

At Oak Residency the rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Tahir was an absolutely magnificent host. The hotel is clean, modern by normal standards but for an accommodation in the mountains of the North of Pakistan, it exceeded in it's modernity. I literally have not even a single bit of constructive criticism, the stay was great. A few power cuts here and there, but that is no fault of the premises. For a small and humble hotel, the food was also some of the nicest I had during my entire trip to Pakistan. Would highly recommend and I'll be back for sure.

Free private parking is available and the hotel also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. It was awesome, especially the team and management were amazing. Had a wonderful time and would definitely go again. Also the spa is a must ☺️
