All rooms are fitted with a seating area. Everything. We live in the island so it was the best local getaway we could hope for for our anniversary. It’s very private and personalized. The breakfast was way more than one could expect. Will go back again next year.

You can enjoy sea view and mountain view from all the rooms. the location is breathtaking, waking up with the sound of the waves and birds was very special. the swimming pool is perfect, surrounded by luxurious green plants that protect you from the wind. the house is also tastefully decorated and well equipped. it’s a place to find peace and quiet, recover energies and enjoy a good book with either your partner or friends.

It features an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the sea, a spa and a garden. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Hotel staff were very kind. The bartender really knew her stuff. She made by far the best mojito I've ever drank. The man in charge of dinner was very professional and kind. The room was very spacious and clean. The trail near the ocean had some great views!

Featuring direct access to Baia de Água d’Alto Beach, this luxurious resort is situated on the island of São Miguel and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. Leisure facilities include a large fresh-water outdoor pool. We spent a week on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. Pestana Bahia Praia Nature & Beach Resort was the perfect location for our stay. The hotel was centrally located for all our travels and adventures on the island. We booked the Junior Suite with a Sea View. It was huge. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. A lovely buffet breakfast was included in the price of our room. They do serve lunch but we were always out for the day. In the evening they serve a delicious buffet dinner for an additional very moderate price. We drove all over the island in our little rental car - so much to see. The island is lush and green with beautiful overlooks of lakes, valleys and the sea. We definitely needed a week to see everything and we didn't see it all. And the people of the island were so friendly - most spoke perfect English. Sao Miguel is a beautiful place for a vacation.
