All rooms are fitted with a seating area. Everything. We live in the island so it was the best local getaway we could hope for for our anniversary. It’s very private and personalized. The breakfast was way more than one could expect. Will go back again next year.

Location is great (beach is near, quiet and calm area), a good place to explore the eastern part of the island. Very clean, big and equipped half of the house. Kind welcome service. Nice welcome package with local food and wine. Nice pool area and beautiful garden. A very beautiful hiking trail starts right outside the door.

It features an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the sea, a spa and a garden. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property. The staff was amazing and friendly. The indoor pool was a huge hit with the kiddos. The beds were very comfortable.

Leisure facilities include a large fresh-water outdoor pool. We spent a week on the island of Sao Miguel in the Azores. Pestana Bahia Praia Nature & Beach Resort was the perfect location for our stay. The hotel was centrally located for all our travels and adventures on the island. We booked the Junior Suite with a Sea View. It was huge. The bed was so comfortable. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. A lovely buffet breakfast was included in the price of our room. They do serve lunch but we were always out for the day. In the evening they serve a delicious buffet dinner for an additional very moderate price. We drove all over the island in our little rental car - so much to see. The island is lush and green with beautiful overlooks of lakes, valleys and the sea. We definitely needed a week to see everything and we didn't see it all. And the people of the island were so friendly - most spoke perfect English. Sao Miguel is a beautiful place for a vacation.
