The staff is supernice and helpful at all times. They helped us with several activities outside of the hotel during our stay. The pool area is beautiful, the restaurant is cozy and the rooms are always clean. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the restaurant everyday and it was great. Don’t forget to ask for ”today’s special” when ordering dinner. Once again, all the staff are great but a special thanks to MJ and Lissa. If you’re going to Jambiani make sure to spend a few nights at Zen, you won’t regret it! All the best from Elin and Jonathan.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, evening entertainment and a kids' club. We loved the resort, the multiple pools, the proximity to the beach and the amazing staff.

Location: it may be different for everyone. It is located in a small fishing village. Step outside Mambo paradise you will immediately find yourself in the middle of the locals and their lives. It is the true Zanzibar. Staffs: very friendly and helpful. Katja, the captain of the hotel, is a star. She arranged everything we requested, big or small and reacted swiftly to any situation (a late taxi, air conditioning issue, etc). Facilities and convenience: we have everything we expected for the region (Africa) and the price we paid. I like the fact that how the hotel is structured: a few steps up from the rooms you reached the beautiful restaurant/lounge/roof top balcony, with nice breeze throughout the day and a heavenly view of the sea; coming out the of room within a few meters you will come out to the pool, then the back door directly to the beach. Water refill on both floors. Activities: with Katja’s magical power, we have experienced amazing Zanzibar-only activities, and everyone of them went so well because of her tips and the guides she arranged.

Located in Pongwe, a few steps from Pongwe Beach, Karibu Beach Resort provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. With a bar, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and room service. The breakfast was good, several choices on the menu. I wish I could have kept out of the bread bowl😋. All the meals we had there were very good and reasonably priced. The hotel and especially the staff were exceptional! They positively cater to your needs. We used the front desk for day trips and everything went very smoothly. I can’t recommend this hotel enough, our stay was fantastic!

Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace, a bar and a private beach area. Offering free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking hotel has a hot tub and evening entertainment. The villas are very stylish, well maintained and immaculately cleaned every day. The location is superb. The people, ranging from the deeply involved owners, to Manager Aliya and the restaurant staff are lovely, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a happy and memorable one.

The One Resort Zanzibar has a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in Makunduchi. This 4-star hotel offers a private beach area, a concierge service and free WiFi. The accommodation features evening entertainment and room service. Staff is friendly, views are great, service is very good as well as the rooms. I really loved our suite as it has a great view and was very spacious.

Facing the beachfront, Imara Beach Resort offers 4-star accommodation in Kiwengwa and has a garden, restaurant and bar. Located around a few steps from Kiwengwa Beach, the resort with free WiFi is also 41 km away from Peace Memorial Museum. The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. My husband and I spent a week there.The location on beach and grounds are kept beautiful.The STAFF ohhh we absolutely loved them and they where so kind and helpful.I would love to make this trip again.The rooms are amazing right on beach.We had the ground level and it was absolutely perfect location to the pool and beach.

We enjoyed every part of it- the staff are amazing, accommodating, and so friendly; the food delicious (both the main restaurant and the Vietnamese one 😍) the accommodation is picturesque, all sand beach and sun; and the activities plenty from yoga, massages, kite surfing and more. I couldn’t recommend staying here for your Zanzibar visit more! Especially if you’re looking for a quiet and idyllic getaway

ARYA Boutique Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a bar and shared lounge in Kiwengwa. A few steps from Kiwengwa Beach and 24 km from Kichwele Forest Reserve, the property provides a private beach area, as well as a garden. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, room service and currency exchange for guests. We had a hick up with the staff but the amazing owners of this beautiful hotel made it all perfect.
