Poipu, Koloa
Located on the southern tip of Kauai Island, Koloa Landing At Poipu Beach features 2 resort-style pools and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. Princeville
The Princeville Resort provides everything needed for an unforgettable stay, including a spacious outdoor swimming pool complete with a swim-up bar. Guests can also enjoy lush tropical surroundings as well as modern fitness facilities and spacious guestrooms. We were upgraded to a master ocean view suite, which was spectacular. The view and sounds of the ocean were the backdrop to our deeply relaxing and inspiring stay. The location is easily the most beautiful on the island. The swimming beach was fantastic and my husband was pleased to be able to snorkel right on the property every day. The breakfast and different options for food were plentiful, healthy and delicious. And the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, special and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary yoga and sound bath sessions and I enjoyed a world class facial with the excellent Cindy at the spa. We loved the whole experience and will be back!

Everything!!
1. Location: océan front , you can walk by the beach to tunel beach and Haena beach park, the two most beautiful beaches both me and my mom ever saw (and we are Brazilian and have travelled extensively in south east Asia, Brazil, Central America and the Caribbean). Also, from the hotel you can see the sunrise! The sun literally emerges from the sea in front of you. You need a car to get to all extra activities, but if you are travelling to Kawai you need one anyways. Bear in mind that throughout the island dinner options are limited, but, who cares?! The place is unique!! Can’t wait to be back
2. Our cottage was super comfortable! Almost too big for only the two of us. Simple luxury, everything we could have thought for was provided, but nothing was ostentatious! Kitchen with all amenities needed, bed super comfortable, beautiful view from the terrace (even if next time we will take the ocen front chalet), quiet and very clean! The terrace was also beautiful.
3. Staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Very kind and accommodating!
We will definitely be back!!
Waimea
Situated on the black sands of Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, these oceanfront cottages in Waimea have been restored with plantation-period furniture and feature patios overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The incredible charm of beautiful historic houses set in a magnificent palm grove. The beautiful seaside pool. The meticulous historic furnishing of the houses. Very quiet at night and starry sky.

A timeshare that doesn’t feel too much like one (a good thing), but has hefty and inexplicable “resort and check-in” fees, and will charge you 20 USD + taxes per day for your car. Nice grounds and gardens, a beautiful view onto the Bay, and spacious rooms, although they could benefit from an upgrade out of their Reagan style (and age). Very comfortable bedding. It shares a private beach with the 5-star Hotel "1 Hanalei", where we recommend you go and have a nice sunset cocktail!
Rooms were clean. Not too crowded. Quiet resort.
Our unit had lovely views over the bay and was conveniently located between the two resort pools. The main pool is gorgeous with waterfalls and even a sandy beach area and wonderful hot tub. Our room was really well appointed with everything we needed and many little extras like beach chairs, a cooler and a whole box of beach toys, which would be fantastic for anyone with kids.
You changed our booking for Hanalei bay resort at last minute to a house. It was a beautiful house but we wanted to stay at the resort. Basically you screwed us at the last minute when it was too late for us to find other accommodations!
The resort was very nice. Great pools with plenty of chairs. The beach was extremely nice and clean.
Room E-402 should not be rented out as it has a severe mold problem. We had to leave the sliding door wide open to even be able to sleep at night and still woke up coughing. We stayed away from resort from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm ish every day because of it. The elevator worked about half the time - what the hell. Also, we were unaware this was a condo and would not receive room service. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the Oasis by the sea as that is the highlight to the property.
A nice departure from resort hotels - felt more like a local hotel in a residential/commercial area. Very comfortable grounds. Excellent value for the location.
All inclusive resort. The pool was fabulous and fun. Love the beachside bar and restaurant. Went for a walk every day along the oceanfront.
Great family resort. Beautiful location close to the hills. All other comments are less relevant from here as we fell in love with the overall picture. Nice pool, basic drinks 24/7 and basic breakfast provided. Beds are OK, overall value for money. Highly recommend this one to visit the highlights of Kauai.
We stayed at the Sheraton for one night because we simply couldn’t stay at our other hotel for one night longer. The Sheraton was everything the other hotel was not - luxury, airy, clean and filled with amenities. We didn’t leave the resort for the 24 hours we were there because it has fantastic access to the beach, a beach bar and a pool. We really liked having a patio to sit and relax on during the evenings. Would have liked to have stayed there longer but it was just so expensive.
