The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast had variety and was very good. The staff even brought us groceries for the day we departed since we left too early for breakfast. The bicycles were very convenient. The staff were very helpful arranging transportation and tours. We liked the location which was close enough to walk easily to restaurants and shops but still very quiet and little traffic.

Tam Coc Retreat was a dream to stay in with lush surroundings, lovely staff, gorgeous bungalows and a good breakfast. We loved staying here! We hired bikes from the retreat to cycle into town which took around 15mins - felt perfectly safe and part of the experience of staying here. We visited the local temples and hired motorbikes to head to the Mua Caves

Beautiful property, a little bit outside all attractions. It’s nice that breakfast was included; staff were very helpful. We rented bikes from the hotel to explore the area.

Great placement with free bike rental and probably the best service we have had of traveling the past years. We got some extra cold water bottles before our day trip, and then again before grabbing the ride to the train station, which they managed for us (slightly cheaper than the local Uber/Lyft app called "Grab"). Overall, we will highly recommend 1-2 nights in Ninh Binh, and if you go for something with great value, choose this hotel!
