Located on the foothills of the Southern Drakensberg, Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages is set on large estate with 2 lakes and 7 km of river frontage. It offers picturesque stone cottages with magnificent views. The views from Coot Cottage and the whole surrounding area are magnificent. We have stayed here previously and always enjoy the peace and tranquility. It is without doubt one of our most favourite places in the world

All units are equipped with air conditioning, a TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a kettle, a shower and a wardrobe. Every room is equipped with a private bathroom, while selected rooms have a kitchen with an oven. At the resort rooms are fitted with bed linen and towels. Great facilities. Nice and clean. We stayed in the wheelchair unit and it was right in the middle and close to everything. It was large enough for the wheelchair to move about easily. All the facilities in the kitchen and bathroom are perfect for a wheelchair user.

Cayley Mountain Resort offers accommodation in Bergview, set in the central Drakensberg with views over the Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle ranges. All accommodation at Premier Resort Sani Pass has a classical style with wooden furniture, and some units benefit from large windows or patios with panoramic views. Everything. It was value for money and the kids weren't bored.

Gooderson Drakensberg Gardens Golf and Spa Resort features a luxury wellness centre which include a hydrotherapy bath and two hot tubs on the wooden deck. The food was exceptional and the staff was very friendly, they made our stay enjoyable. I would very likely visit again.

Alpine Heath Resort has many dining options for guests including regional dishes cooked in a traditional clay oven. Meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant, on the terrace or in the privacy of guests’ rooms. There are also braai barbecue facilities available. The resort is spotless, the food was amazing and the view is spectacular !!!

Drakensberg Sun Resort has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Winterton. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a kids' club and room service, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation features entertainment staff and a 24-hour front desk. Oooh this place is little paradise. What an amazing experience we had. The food was more than one could ask for and delicious. The view was spectacular. I loved everything about this place. We should have stayed 2 weeks instead. Lovely place.
