I met some collegues online and the view behind me was so nice, with the light through the plants in the big windows than one of them told me that he thought I have a virtual wall until he spotted a cat walking on the fence The coffee machine is a real thing with coffee beans, the facilities are complete. You definitelly get more than you pay. The cofee and some fruit were on the house. The hosts are very nice and stylish people, very thougtfull and helpfull. They even offered to drive us from the train station to the property and back. They helped us with everything we needed and they contributted to the general impression of a nice and beautifull atmosphere overall.”

  Beautiful location double bedroom was spacious but bathroom a little small shower cubicle door opened onto toilet but I appreciate it’s an old building it was beautifully clean and towels lovely and white and fluffy small point did not spoil stay great stay with dog who was made very welcome , great pub menu best pizza I have had , and fabulous fish and chips on first night . Staff couldn’t have been more helpful , hotel has recently been refurbished

  Only thing that was slightly disappointing was the breakfast service , because we had a dog we could eat in the bar which was no problem lovely surroundings and views , breakfast was down in restaurant which we had to go up and down to it was buffet self service again not a problem except there was no vegetarian hot option on the buffet and no eggs left , we ordered two vegetarian breakfasts at bar , only one came no eggs , waited for second ; it came again no eggs gave up in the end again very small thing in a wonderful stay , I just look forward to full breakfast in hotel stays

  The breakfast was pretty amazing, beautifully presented and clever menu. Landlady had time to cook, clean and chat! I was pleased that she was flexible enough, upon asking, in our get in time which meant we were able to have the most glorious of bike rides we otherwise would not have had.

  cottage was lovely newly decorated home from home had everything we needed small with lovely features. Morrisons superstore was not far away 2 mins up the road and a small Tesco down the road. Longleat within an easy drive lovely village pubs good food and drink very friendly.

  Could have done with a coffee table for our cups snacks in the Downstairs room. No parking outside the cottage so had to un load the cases and find a spot way down the road near the park but it did not hinder our lovely stay at all
