You definitelly get more than you pay. The cofee and some fruit were on the house. The hosts are very nice and stylish people, very thougtfull and helpfull. They even offered to drive us from the train station to the property and back. They helped us with everything we needed and they contributted to the general impression of a nice and beautifull atmosphere overall.”

      Comfortable rooms, plenty of parking, large garden space (including furniture, BBQ), good sized separate lounge, dining room and kitchen to spread out, easy self-checkin process, and ability to book for a single night was a plus as not always possible for large properties at weekends

      Tricky to exit onto main road but not as noisy as I expected. Mobile phone dead-spot but good Wi-Fi to compensate

      The location, ambiance and room all exceeded expectations. Lovely atmosphere, handy location magnificent views across sweeping meadows to the Thames. All truly delightful.

      The attitude and indifference of the staff at nearly all levels. It really let what was a great property down. They simply did not care. Not just about us but the other guests as well, it seems. No communication of issues and closures of the restaurant, and a complete indifference to where our party could dine, was one example.

      When we arrived there were two members of staff, the first said hello and was lovely. The other member of staff just looked at us both (we are both 22) however the first thing they said was you both look too young I need your ID. No greeting or anything like that just a cold comment. Once we showed our IDs to the other member of staff we were welcomed to our room. I understand the need for ID but to be spoken to about the issue a little nicer.
