How does it work?

  • 1

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

  • 2

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Grand Millennium Business Bay

    - “Excellent 5-star hotel in Dubai, located in one of the best areas – Business Bay. Perfect if you are coming by car - excellent valet services and ample parking space. All the staff was friendly, attentive, polite and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The services are great (e.g., We used the laundry service which was reasonably priced and timely, or the reception was always helpful with anything we needed). Hotel itself is new, very modern and tastefully decorated, with large lobby spaces to hangout. Room had a view of the bay and Burj Khalifa. Room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Amenities include chairs, tables, desk, windows with sun blinds, smart TV, powerful air-conditioning, mirror, plenty of closet space with hangers, safe, fridge, tea kettle, tea & coffee, USB charging sockets and lamps on both sides of the bed, great lighting, fast Wi-Fi, iron, shoe horn, hair dryer, and essentials like towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Bed and blankets were large. Mattress was very comfortable (also for people with back problems). Bathroom was spacious, well-designed and clean, with a bathtub, walk-in shower, bidet, toilet and vanity mirror. Breakfast was just delicious, with every variety of food imaginable. Staff was attentive and careful about allergies and special dietary requirements. Hotel has four in-house restaurants and a bar to choose from, all of which are excellent. One of the restaurants has their own sheesha place with excellent sheeshas and service. Hotel has a decent swimming pool with a life guard on duty and a pool-side bar with nice views. Spa (includes jacuzzi, steam, sauna, etc.) was well-maintained and massage services were excellent. In general, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!”

The house was very clean and very comfortable- it made for a relaxing space that I was happy to call home for a couple of days. I had lots of fun exploring the local area and Dartmoor was accessible via public transport so lots to keep me occuppied- I made use of the OS map in the house so think you for that ✨ also the added Devon tea supplies were such a lovely touch though I didn't get to try them!

Beautiful old building, cleverly restored to give a modern feel. Perfectly located to give access to all the sights and the train station. Above all, the staff make you feel so welcome. They are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. The food was exceptional, wonderful breakfast choices and fresh, creative choices for evening meals.

Easy to get to and great to be able to park in zone 1 if you drive. 10 minute walk into city centre. Genuinely different quirky room from a modern Airbnb. Bedroom and bathroom were huge. Host very friendly. Nice personal touches like a fridge, bottled water, 2 delicious boxes of biscuits, bottle of Prosecco, toiletries.

No lock on bedroom door but as it was a private house and we were on one floor to ourselves perhaps it didn’t matter. Some people might not like you had to go out of your room to get to the bathroom (huge) next door. No tv but didn’t bother us. Some walls just needed a fresh lick of paint in my opinion. Room was huge enough to have a couple of comfy chairs.

Rooms very comfortable, bed has a high quality topper on it. Shower pressure is excellent and the supplied products very high quality. TV is a large full smart TV which is excellent. Food at the pub brilliant also. Ability to order drinks to your room is a very nice touch.

I prepaid for breakfast, but the lady who greeted me in the morning presented me with a menu with prices on. I then had to ask what was included and felt quite awkward. Would be far better for staff to know if you're a hotel guest and have a separate menu stating what's included within the £10. Breakfast was amazing by the way, very high quality, just the admin let it down a little.

Ripon is a beautiful place to visit and the White Horse is well located in a central position. Our room was quiet. The bathroom was large and everything was spotlessly clean. The lady who served breakfast on our first morning was friendly, cheerful and very helpful.

The landlord. The rooms are on the second floor which was a bit of a struggle for my tired old legs at the end of the day.

Lovely little glamping pod with microwave, mini fridge, small fan heater. Bedding is not supplied nor crockery or cutlery so come prepared. An easy walk to the coast path to walk on to Torquay or Dartmouth. Very clean and cosy. .

didn’t know it was shared with the landlord until the day before which left it too late for me to cancel the booking. me and my partner were left in the small bedroom unable to use the kitchen or living room like we thought as it’s uncomfortable with someone sitting there the whole evening? landlord got drunk in the living room while we stayed so didn’t stay the night
