- “The holiday home is just gorgeous! I felt being welcomed by family. Roula and Nick are such excellent hosts. Our flights arrived late and they waited for us to arrive to hand over the keys. The house is so tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Roula and Nick were very friendly and looked after us like family. They also arranged a taxi service for us. We met Poppi who was just delightful and helpful us to explore bit more of the island. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to escape to a place that is far from the maddening crowd.”

We arrived late and were tired but the guy on staff told us that we should go out and explore Hadrians Gate and Old town at night and we are so glad that we did! Was a really cool vibe - would recommend exploring at night - this was at 11pm! Bed was comfy and the space was perfect to spent a night or two in as a stopover. Location and value for money are hard to beat. We were able to park our hire car directly outside the front of the hotel which was awesome. Staff were great and very helpful. We would stay here again.”

  Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, as was the rest of the house. Our hosts provided everything we needed and were extremely pleasant and helpful. The combination of mattress, pillows and duvet was the most comfortable ever, by a long way! The bathroom was also a good size and the shower was so easy to regulate (unusual, in my experience). The property is situated in a rural district at the end of a long drive with keypad entry, so security is not a worry. It's a very quiet location, with great skies at night.

  Loved the view over the lake and how homely it actually felt considering. The double bed looked small but once we had actually slept in it found it to be extremely comfortable and had a surprisingly very good night's sleep. Loved having breakfast in the morning sun 🌄

  Great location. We didn’t have breakfast because we had other plans in place. Really comfortable stay. The lounge area has fabulous views. Really comfy bed and lovely walk in shower.

  We had an evening meal on our first night. Although it was lovely I thought it was a little pricey and perhaps could have been more choice of meals on the menu. I know they haven’t been (re) opened that long so I’m sure things can only improve. Would definitely return there though!

  Good food and good service. Hotel had changed somewhat since our last visit. Room was fine. Friendliness of the staff was impressive especially in the dining room.
