The house is so tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Roula and Nick were very friendly and looked after us like family. They also arranged a taxi service for us. We met Poppi who was just delightful and helpful us to explore bit more of the island. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking to escape to a place that is far from the maddening crowd.”

Was a really cool vibe - would recommend exploring at night - this was at 11pm! Bed was comfy and the space was perfect to spent a night or two in as a stopover. Location and value for money are hard to beat. We were able to park our hire car directly outside the front of the hotel which was awesome. Staff were great and very helpful. We would stay here again.”

  We were travelling on foot - walking north. The receptionist was excellent - as were all the staff in other parts of the Service Area complex. The bath was appreciated! Surprised by the calm of the place - the lakeside position was superb. We watched (in the evening) a flock of migrating house martins (arriving back for the summer) & (during breakfast) 2 Divers (?Black Throated?) fishing for theirs. It was fascinating to observe the process of a major transportation route - the movement of freight wagons & other commercial traffic. As walkers we were uninvolved - just 'passers-by' travelling at a speed that allowed for observation & reflection.

  Beautifully decorated, immaculate and very comfortable. Convenient for attending event at Newnham College. Good value compared to hotels. Would also be convenient if bringing a car.

  Traffic noise/vibrations with lorry's driving past. The windows were fairly well insulated, but would have been more of an issue in the summer. No breakfast places nearby - consider providing continental breakfast and some fresh milk.

  When we got to the property there were no keys, we called the women and told her we’re outside with 2 small children and she said she would be half an hour to drop the keys but then I told her I’m not happy about this and we will stay in the property because we have nowhere to go with the children but we will be asking for a refund for such bad service and she chose not to come and give us the keys and started being very rude on the phone to us and wouldn’t meet us and told us she had cancelled her uber.
