Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Location was excellent for getting around Orkney. Accommodation was clean, quiet and comfortable. Our host, George, was very friendly and accommodating. Facilities were great, there was a fridge,microwave and toaster to help with preparing meals.

The location couldn’t have been better for our theatre visit. Our room was spotlessly clean, powerful shower and helpful staff - I couldn’t find the air con controller but a quick call to reception put me right. Plenty of good eateries on the doorstep.

Our room was very small but didn’t mind, the bed was so uncomfortable we would of been better sleeping on the floor, we asked the manager if he wouldn’t mind moving us but was very rude and defensive, he moved us to a room which was as ok as the first one however it was located in the old service quarters and couldn’t sleep because of the noise and light outside our window, deliveries were constant, we’ve stayed many times and always loved it, but not this time, won’t be staying again unfortunately
