Arnos Manor is a beautiful hotel and totally exceeded our expectations. The room was beautiful, and the bed was so incredibly comfortable. I was especially delighted at a full-size bathtub and not one of those horrible shallow ones you find in cheaper hotels! Everything was lovely and clean and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had the buffet breakfast on one of the mornings, which was great value for money and absolutely delicious. For the (very reasonable) price we paid for two nights I was so very happy with our experience.

Honestly the only little niggle we had was that the hotel is quite far from the city centre, however public transport to the centre, is frequent and there is a bus stop close by.

Beautiful old house with a good location. Breakfast was good apart from the incessant coughing of the guest house owner shaking the tables. The room was in need of serious renovation but was clean.

Same depressing old story of the owner on a path of self and business destruction drinking, smoking, and listening to loud music (you can hear from your room) at 3pm. Paint falling off the walls - I agreed with the other guest sitting at breakfast this would be a one off experience and not worth 80 pounds.

The staff was nice and tried to help as best as possible. The remote location is beautiful if you want to enjoy nature and go for long walks.

Unfortunately the room was quite dirty, big stains on the outside of the bed and floor. Spiderwebs at the window, the furniture looked well used and not in the best state. The TV is smaller than some laptop screens nowadays. You can hear every sound from your neighbours, so you might not have a quiet night. The bathroom did not seem clean either, once again stains on the ceiling and walls. There was no WiFi connection in the room as well, which is a no go nowadays. Overall the room did not seem well kept and taken care of, which is a shame and should not be a standard that the staff aspires to have. The breakfast was only continental style which included toast, a couple of cheeses and spreads and a yoghurt. If breakfast is included in the price I should be receiving more than just something that I can also buy at a supermarket and probably get more there for my money. Also it was not communicated that there would only be continental breakfast during the week. The restaurant downstairs is nice but once again is not open every day for dinner. The food itself was good but really pricey with small portions, not something you would expect in the middle of nowhere. Overall I'm really disappointed with the stay there and can not understand how all the good reviews come to happen since I definitely will not recommend this place neither stay in it again..

The location was perfect, once I had found the property check in and check out were easy and I enjoyed the facilities

I had an awkward run with the person sharing the opposite room. And due to this I did not spend any time in the main kitchen area - However, that is personal choice the room was beautiful clean and welcoming.

Very quiet location with free parking, room was comfortable and big bathroom.

Limited time to check-in from 4pm to 6pm compelling you to arrive early in Wick, breakfast wasn't the best and Nutella packs were expired.

Lovely setting. Lovely lounge and dining room

Room rather small and lacking the finishes and facilities that you would expect for the amount paid. Room was overpriced. Evening meal was fine but a bit bland for price paid and wine very expensive and was smallest large glass of wine I’ve ever had as was like a normal glass serving.

Breakfast could definitely of been better not enough cooked variety for full English breakfast
