The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

The breakfast wasn't terrible but wasn't great either - definitely not what I would have expected. The biggest negative was the room(s). I had booked the cosy double so didn't expect it to be huge, but the room had a low ceiling, and was really dark and claustrophobic. One small window did look over the garden, but you couldn't enjoy the view because of the big white shutters that couldn't be opened as the bed sat in front of them. I asked to move rooms and moved over to one in the courtyard which was brighter and less claustrophobic. Unfortunately though, the television didn't work and without wanting to go into too much detail, the toilet wasn't clean. I complained and the member of staff apologised and I was moved into another bigger, upgraded room. On first glance this room was better, and the one I stayed overnight in. However, it was very dark with no view, the television didn't work in this room either, I had to pick dog hairs out of the bed sheets (they seemed to be clean sheets, but clearly the last person who slept in them had a dog and the hairs were stuck in there, so very off-putting), and there was mould in the corner of the room and round the windows. By this point I was too tired to complain again or find a new hotel, so I stayed the night. The disappointing breakfast the next morning was the final straw, and I packed my bags and didn't stay the second night. It seems strange to me that the rooms in a hotel with such beautiful surroundings, haven't been designed to appreciate the views. The rooms are nicely decorated, but are dark, which makes them feel dull and the cleanliness is not up to scratch. Sadly not the relaxing break I had been hoping for.

Lack of communication, was given wrong information so went to the wrong apartment in a different location to what was booked. I was locked out and had to wait for over half an hour to get access to the key. Spoke to 3 different men who all contradicted themselves with what turned out to be the wrong information. Awful experience, never again. The apartment itself was dirty, the kitchen was littered with bugs and dust.
