Positive section of review
Breakfast excellent cooked by the host who was so friendly and helpful. It was also lovely to have the use of the lounge, with real fire which we could light ourselves and watch TV in the lounge on cosy sofas. Having the use of the breakfast kitchen (with fridge) was particularly helpful and a bonus to store milk and any perishable picnic items. All we needed to do, after using the kitchen, was to make sure we left it as we found it of course, ready for the morning breakfast. The price is realistic: this is a very old place and although not luxurious by modern standards, we didn't want luxury as we would be paying double the cost or more - this has all that we needed for the weekend and the beds were very comfortable and it was a very quiet and very peaceful place. We had the double bedroom with additional single bed and that was the most spacious bedroom. Tiny shower room , but shower rooms have been fitted in to a historical building and are perfectly adequate.

Excellent location (bus stop literally in front of the building and Baker Street tube station at about 5-6 mins walk). The flat is well-equipped and Sam and Nidhi, the hosts, are extremely nice and welcoming. A place we would certainly consider booking again for another stay!

The only thing we liked was that Ecclesian had double booked and other guest were able to let us inside (before they left and allowed us to stay) otherwise we wouldn't have had access as Sojo hadn't shared lockbox details.

The fact that 5 20 somethings were inside when we arrived. This scared my elderly mother but luckily the young men were helpful. Unlike Sojo who ignored us all weekend. I am home a week and Sojo will still not accept blame for how poorly they manage their properties

We had booked the spa which was a real disappointment. We knew it was being refurbished but the replacement changing area was totally inadequate. The staff didn’t explain where the thermal spa was situated. We only got the Prosecco we’d ordered by asking for it. I had a massage and the therapist ignored the comments on my registration form

For a start the picture of the hotel is deceiving the entrance is a dingy looking door round the side not very pleasant. Hotel starts at at least three story up. Room large clean very clinical steps up to the bath room not a good idea. I don’t feel it was worth the money we paid. I definitely will not be recommending this hotel. No restaurant very poor all round.
