Centrally located property with own restaurant, good sized, comfortable rooms. Loved the little booklet in the room detailing the history of the property. Excellent breakfast though evening meal a little disappointing.

Evening meal was average, ordered the large fish and chips which was tiny, I’d have been in tears if I’d have gone with the smaller version! Then crumble to finish which was at best ok. Expensive drinks but not surprising for a bar in the centre of Boston.

The communal toilets for men are mostly closed. The rooms are very dated and poorly maintained to the point things are falling off the walls and skirting boards. There was paint all over the floor and in the bath from last time it was decorated the lock on the door was only half screwed in One good shove and it would have been open without a key you could feel every spring in the mattress even though they tried to compensate this by putting a mattress protector on and are double bed two beds pushed together so kept falling down the gap in the middle, the headboard was for a double bedbut the bed was way bigger. It was odd and although it was a non-smoking hotel or you could smell was cigarettes.

seemed ok upon arrival but once you said hello that was it they checked us in and that was it . room was what you expected for the price but it could of been cleaned that bit more . it’s those last little details that need to be done . like the skirting boards and cobwebs .

Room was cold, although the room was clean it lacked attention to detail, for example the bathroom was poor, no storage for toiletries except the floor, the shower curtain needed replacing as was all creased and soiled. Hairdryer didn't reach the mirror. The standard wasn't a "deluxe room". Not as expected.
