How does it work?

    It starts with a booking

    It starts with a booking

The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

    Followed by a trip

    Followed by a trip

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

  • And finally, a review

    And finally, a review

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

  • Grand Millennium Business Bay

    - “Excellent 5-star hotel in Dubai, located in one of the best areas – Business Bay. Perfect if you are coming by car - excellent valet services and ample parking space. All the staff was friendly, attentive, polite and helpful, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The services are great (e.g., We used the laundry service which was reasonably priced and timely, or the reception was always helpful with anything we needed). Hotel itself is new, very modern and tastefully decorated, with large lobby spaces to hangout. Room had a view of the bay and Burj Khalifa. Room was very spacious, clean and well equipped. Amenities include chairs, tables, desk, windows with sun blinds, smart TV, powerful air-conditioning, mirror, plenty of closet space with hangers, safe, fridge, tea kettle, tea & coffee, USB charging sockets and lamps on both sides of the bed, great lighting, fast Wi-Fi, iron, shoe horn, hair dryer, and essentials like towels, shampoo, shower gel, etc. Bed and blankets were large. Mattress was very comfortable (also for people with back problems). Bathroom was spacious, well-designed and clean, with a bathtub, walk-in shower, bidet, toilet and vanity mirror. Breakfast was just delicious, with every variety of food imaginable. Staff was attentive and careful about allergies and special dietary requirements. Hotel has four in-house restaurants and a bar to choose from, all of which are excellent. One of the restaurants has their own sheesha place with excellent sheeshas and service. Hotel has a decent swimming pool with a life guard on duty and a pool-side bar with nice views. Spa (includes jacuzzi, steam, sauna, etc.) was well-maintained and massage services were excellent. In general, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!”

Staff were so professional and friendly from arriving to leaving. Our room was so big and modern, with plenty of space for 3 people. The bathroom and shower was amazing. Breakfast service was really friendly and food was beautiful with plenty of choice. Location couldn't have been more central, less than 5 mins to central York shopping Centre and 10 mins to York Cathedral. We weren't able to park at the hotel but the NCP car park was only a few mins walk away. The girl on reception told us to show them our ticket on departure and they would provide a discount ticket for the car park. This was excellent and saved us a few pounds on departing.

The terrace bar and Spa weren't open on our stay which was a shame as would have liked to have tried both. Room was very warm but couldn't cool the room down very well. On leaving we were informed they could have turned it down on their main panel. This information would have been good on our arrival, especially to 2 menopausal women lol.

Lovely and welcoming cottage (it was decorated up for Easter too). Cute welcome hamper and furnished to a good standard with lots of little touches, like iPhone chargers, hairdryers, range of toiletries and blankets to be cosy in the lounge. Really felt home from home. We didn’t cook (it was a holiday :-)) but kitchen was well equipped and plenty of everything. Our 2 children (12 and 14) loved their rooms in the roof too - great for them to have their own space.

The main bedroom mattress is rather on the squishy side and window coverings in the attic rooms would be valued.

I stayed in one of the single rooms whilst at a conference, it was cosy and clean. The hotel is in a good location and was good value for money. Staff at reception were very friendly and Dorka who ran the breakfast room was very welcoming and a friendly face to see each day.

This is an old-style grand hotel in maybe the best seafront location in the Hastings and St Leonards area. There are huge public rooms and bedroom spaces, wonderful views of the sea and good food.

Don't expect a 21st Century boutique hotel experience. At the price we paid, it would unreasonable to be critical of the imperfections.

Staff a little slow in responding at times. Eg Supplying asked for tea bags and requesting 1 egg only at breakfast and always getting 2! Bar a bit slow at times
