You definitelly get more than you pay. The cofee and some fruit were on the house. The hosts are very nice and stylish people, very thougtfull and helpfull. They even offered to drive us from the train station to the property and back. They helped us with everything we needed and they contributted to the general impression of a nice and beautifull atmosphere overall.”

  Hotel very comfortable - beautiful dining room and grounds and fab swimming pool/spa and relaxation area. We loved visiting Bowood House nearby - we walked there and were picked up in the hotel buggy at the end - it was all great!

  We had some issues with taxis - but this was not the hotel's fault - they are very happy to book taxis and were very helpful with the issues we had.

  The property was very cold on arrival, only once I worked out that the boiler needed turning up, did it warm up above 14 degrees. The bathroom also remained very cold throughout the stay, particularly the floor tiles

  AVOID. Absolutely disgusting place was filthy. The bed sheets had clearly not been changed there was black hairs and white stains on them. The curtains in the bedroom were falling off the rail. The kitchen was revolting with left over food from the previous guests left in there. There was cat food down the side of the sofa. Do not understand how anybody could let someone stay in a place this bad. The host was not interested in what I had to say instead was ignoring all messages/phone calls. Booking.com was informed and I was offered a smaller apartment owed by the same person which was smaller than the original one I paid for so therefore didn’t fit my party size and on checking that one out it was equally as filthy and disgusting as the original one. There is no way I could stay here and had to book an alternative last minute hotel out of my own money as the host was refusing a refund. Never seen customer service as appalling as this.

  If that was a premium family room for almost £500 then I wouldn’t recommend!! You can’t move around and no views we looked out onto bins and seagulls in the bins 24/7!! Rooms for £500 for 2 nights should have a sea view
