The property seemed in a reasonable state for its age although I can’t say much about it as I only went through the bar and up to my room and I didn’t go for the breakfast as it was just continental, I prefer cooked breakfast. There was a decent size TV on the wall at the end of the bed and a hairdryer attached to the wall also tea and coffee facilities on the shelf next to the bed with a nice clean kettle.

Unfortunately for me even though I know I was a solo traveler the room I had (room 8) was just far too small I could practically touch both walls width ways and it wasn’t much longer than the length of the bed so I kinda felt like I was sleeping in a closet room. It was decorated well enough and the shower room at the other end of the room was well presented, it looked modern and clean. If not again on the small side, I struggled to move around while trying to get ready with my case getting in the way as there was nowhere to put it out the way except on the bed. I don’t believe this is an adequate size room even for a solo traveler but if your looking for a 1 night stay it might be ok if your just using it purely to sleep in. It’s too small to spend any longer in. Also a lot of door banging early hours in the morning with people coming back from their nights out. I would have like to see the other rooms to compare so unfortunately my review has to be on the one I was given. I’m sure had I had a slightly larger room it might be different and I’m sure the bar is nice enough from the Quick Look I had of it.

This was a last minute booking. Jess was very accommodating and made us very welcome. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. It was lovely having breakfast in the room at a lovely table and chairs. Breakfast was continental, very well presented and delicious. Easy parking and easy to walk to several local pubs. Easy drive to some local attractions.

The views were amazing and having a wood burning stove kept us cozy until the weather improved and we could sit around the outside fire. The horse box kitchen was really well kitted out. The hosts were so generous and helped us celebrate our adult daughter's birthday by giving us a bottle of fizz.

Room was to a high standard. a great selection for breakfast and well cooked. Did not have a room with a view but did have a quite patio area and a few steps away from a seating area with a view of the loch.

Really great location! There were even magazines and maps for the local areas to help with our walks which I thought was a really nice touch. Amazing we had our own parking space too.

Room was immediately adjacent to the main road and was noisy until about midnight. Also the room was cold and the bedding not warm enough (no additional blankets in the room)
